“Dod yn ôl at fy nghoed.”
“I return to the trees.”
-Welsh proverb
Look Well To This Day
by Kalidasa (4th-5th century CE)
Look well to this day! For it is life,
The very life of life.
In its brief course lie all the verities
And realities of your existence:
The bliss of growth,
The glory of action,
The splendour of beauty;
For yesterday is but a dream,
And tomorrow is only a vision,
But today well lived,
Makes every yesterday a dream of happiness
And very tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this day!
Such is the salutation of the dawn.

“Oh, the tree of life is growing where the spirit never dies, and the bright light of salvation shines in dark and empty skies.”
-Bob Dylan, Death is Not the End (1988)
