Allan Stratton, friend

Pegi is one of the people who live in your heart a lifetime. We met as teenagers in London, Ontario, in 1968, just before we went to Neuchatel College for grade thirteen. She's a friend you can step in and out of time with. Conversations were always in the moment, not dwelling the past except for the occasional warm reminiscence. I don’t think I’ve known anyone more grounded at such an early age; someone who treated everyone with generosity and kindness. Steady as a rock and as free as the air. Thinking of her makes me smile and always will.
