Catherine Abreu, colleague, Climate Action Network Canada

I first met Pegi about 8 years ago in my previous position at Ecology Action Centre in Halifax, NS. She was such a generous person for a hard working climate activist on the east coast of Canada to get to know, and really helped connect me to the broader Canadian climate movement and its funders. Getting to work so closely with her when I moved to Climate Action Network was a huge bonus. I can remember sitting with her at CEGN conferences in Halifax and Fredericton and Toronto and Banf - always ready with a warm smile and fierce dedication to the movement. I miss her, and I know so many of us do.
