Pegi was such a beautiful person and I considered her a friend and mentor. She always had a smile on her face and was always willing to help. She was so incredibly generous in a million small and big ways.
One of my favourite memories of Pegi was after discovering that we lived on the same street a few blocks away from each other, she quickly followed with an invitation to come for dinner where my partner and I enjoyed an evening of amazing food, laughs, and cheer with her beautiful family and other friends and colleagues.
Another memory was during a CEGN conference at the Old Mill. I was recently back from a short maternity leave and it was one of the first extended time periods that I was away from my young son. I wasn't staying on site so Pegi offered her hotel room so I could pump in a quiet and private space. She always did her best to make people feel welcome and cared for.
Sending my deepest sympathies to her family during a period of such enormous loss.
