Sandy Hoang, colleague, Environment Funders Canada

Pegi always carried her warmth into the workplace and has enriched many of her colleagues’ lives. She has always been ambitious in setting high organization goals that surprises her Board and affinity groups of what a small team can accomplish. Her tenacity to address complex environmental and societal issues faced by Canadians, newcomers and Indigenous people while delicately offering a welcoming space for different perspectives continue to inspire many to become great leaders like her. Those who’ve worked directly with Pegi or crossed paths with her will attest to how fortunate they’re to have wonderful memories with Pegi in our respective careers.
